Do Your Research !

There is an abundance of companies offering bifold doors as well as bifolds. As customers you need to do alot of research on what is actually offered and how its installed.   If in any doubt ask as many questions as you need when comparing frame profiles, running gear and ultimately installation.

You should only deal with a bifold door company who have their own installers or expert support available. Installation is in some cases more important than the product being installed which is why we recommend our installers.

Everyone in the company has been installing at one time or another so we know how much work goes into a proper installation.  Weight consideration, profile,track and finish of a bifold doors are key factors.

Typically the installation requires a full day for a large ground floor location sliding door with up to 6 professional installers. We always have our experts onsite to do the job correctly first time or to support supply-only projects with local glazing companies.

This is why we have our own expert installers on the payroll unlike many other companies. Our top tip is to compare as many companies as you need to ensure youre getting the right profile bifold doors. You then need to check who will install it as you may be quite surprised.

All Bifolds installations are covered by insurance and we proudly recognise all NZ building code requirements as standard.

Installation Follow-up

Sliding door or bifold installation may require a follow-up adjustment as the house settles which is normal. We offer this for free in the scope of our quotes unlike other reputable providers who charge a follow-up ‘call out’ fee.   We’ve never believed in this type of client charging and thankfully never will so you can rest assured if there is ever an issue with your bifolds either our intallation team or our recognised local installers will be back to solve it in a flash.
